About me: Dan is a line producer who’s worked in features & commercials. He’s Produced, Co-Produced and Line Produced three micro-budget films, being responsible for running the budgets on all three productions. In 2020 he was Associate Producer on series 2 of Baptiste made for the BBC by Two Brothers Productions.

Young couple Tom & Ani spend a summer in her uncles home. Tom is writing his next play as he recovers from a broken leg, whilst Ani is trying to turn her tech company internship into her first proper role in the industry. They’re being observed in the house by three ‘Officials’ watching them on the houses CCTV. Ani’s boss takes a liking to her, the attention soon turns uncomfortable bringing pressures to bear on their relationship. As the Officials watch the couple break down, we see them sing anthems that reflect the narrative, as a modern day Greek chorus. Starring Anthony Boyle and Gaia Weiss the film is written and directed by Agnieszka Lukasiak. In production in late summer of 2020, Victims was one of the first films shot as the UK emerged from the coronavirus lockdown and is now in post-production. Dan was responsible for running the production, keeping the project on budget, and ensuring the health and safety of all crew across the seven week production period. The film will be delivered in summer 2021.

Dan worked on the second series of Baptiste made for the BBC by Two Brothers Productions. Written by Jack & Harry Williams, Produced by John Griffin and starring Tcheky Karyo and Fiona Shaw. Dan joined the show as part of Screen Skills Co-Producer program to work on a HETV drama, working in the pre-production and Budapest based shoot period of the production supporting all of the relevant departments where required.

Stephanie an anorexic who has battled her ED for most of her adult life, wants to rebuild her relationship with her estranged daughter, Pearl. She’ll do almost anything to get her back. Written & directed by Lucy Brydon and produced by Dan was commissioned by the Film London Microwave scheme with funding from the BFI and BBC Films. The micro-budget drama follows an anorexic woman as she struggles to reconnect with her family. Starring Sian Brooke and Amanda Burton, the film was shot in spring 2018 and will World Premiere at Glasgow International Film Festival in February 2020.

The mainstream Pride in London march draws larger crowds than ever before, off-shoots have also started to take root, signaling a major shift in queer culture and organising. Are You Proud? is a provocative and intelligent documentary detailing the history of the movement and exuding compassion for the many – often conflicting – parts of the LGTBQ+ community. a genuine community effort that seeks to answer a simple but profound question about the future of this iconic movement. ARE YOU PROUD? is directed by Ashley Joiner and produced by Dan. The film was released in the UK in 2019 by Peccadillo Pictures, and screened at festivals in The US, Europe and Australia. Dan was Long Listed for Breakthrough Producer at the British Independent Film Awards in 2019 for his work on the film.
