Joining The Junior Production Managers List

This lists people who are working as Junior Production Managers.  The list is ONLY available to PMA members and is NOT open to the public.  JPM’s can put themselves on their own availability list.  JPM’s are not members of the PMA. Inclusion in this list is entirely at the discretion of the PMA.

To be eligible for inclusion on the site, JPM’s need:

  • to put forward a PMA member who is prepared to vouch for them, as at least one of their two references
  • to have a minimum of 1 broadcast credit as a Junior Production Manager

Their profile, including credits and contact details will be listed for the members to see but no aspect of this will be available to the general public.

Listed JPM’s will be able to log into the site and update their contact details, credits and availability.

JPM’s accepted onto the list will benefit from access to all the free training that is provided for our members, a website noticeboard, job opportunities from the PMA members, the PMA's online magazine ‘The Bottom Line’ and invitations to PMA social events.

If the majority of their credits for the past 12 months are PM not JPM they will no longer be eligible for this list at time of renewal.

Fees

The annual administration fee is £120. Non-payment within 4 weeks of the due date will mean automatic removal from the system.

Disclaimer

The PMA retains the right to remove any JPM from the list at its own discretion if it transpires that the criteria have not been met, or if it is found that anyone on the list is no longer accepting work as a JPM.  They may not promote themselves as ‘Members’ of the PMA whilst on this list; the normal joining criteria for PMA membership applies (this is currently 2 years experience as a Production Manager and 4 broadcast credits - or equivalent).

We recommend that PMA members take up references for JPMs and check CVs before employing them.

Our Sponsors

The PMA is sponsored by a variety of companies in the film and television industry. We have a long-standing relationship with many of them dating back to the PMA’s inception in 1991.

PMA members benefit from the information and services that our sponsors can provide, while sponsors gain access to the upper echelon of Production Managers in the UK who are major purchasers for the industry.

Become a sponsor

We only have one sponsor per area of business but occasionally opportunities to become a sponsor of the PMA do arise.

Sponsors get the chance to meet our members several times a year, host parties, explain their services and write for our magazine The Bottom Line.
