Greenshoot provide Environmental Management Services to the Film, Commercials and TV industries. It was started two years ago by four experienced people from the filming industries.
Their service involves delivering a pre and post production audit covering the Social, Environmental and Economic impact of the shoot.
This data is collated by a trained Greenshoot Co-ordinator, who oversees all environmental issues on a film set.
They also recycle; as much as 70% of on set waste and over 90% of set build waste, in 2 weeks alone on Johnny English they diverted 28 tonnes of waste from landfill.
At the end of the film shoot they present an Environmental Sustainability report documenting how much Greenshoot have cut emissions by, how much waste was diverted from landfill and how much money the production has saved.
