Both series were challenging regarding clearances, involving extensive legal negotiations, especially use of the Bond film clips and EPK footage. One episode won a BAFTA, and another a BAFTA nomination.

6 X 30mins. Docu-soap about twenty-somethings in Nottingham. This series had a dedicated full time Producer so there was less hands-on work for me. However, this led to other special challenges in keeping track of spending where I learned valuable lessons about the relationship between Producer and Production Manager.

6 x 30min Tourists visiting the UK. This series was produced concurrently with Making Out, so it was a pretty busy time. At any given time, there could be six crews out filming all over the country. Cost control was the main challenge.

Filming in UK and Northern Ireland dealing with a very sensitive issue of murder in the gay community and a legal loophole. I very much enjoyed working with experienced journalists watching them get to the heart of a story in a different way to the television research route.
