I was bought part way through filming to forecast costs, propose workable schedules in order to meet delivery, sourced additional members of the senior team, created budgets for additional filming, helped cost report and progress report the series and provided much needed first series experience.

Line Producing a groundbreaking and ambitious 10 x 1 hour series for MTV. 7 celebs looking for love are travelling worldwide to find the love of their life via social media. Attending commissioner meetings with the MD, overseeing multiple visa applications for talent and crew, liaising with all social media platforms to gain permission for use in the series. Staffing the series and managing budgets and schedules.


Mafia's Greatest Hits

Overseeing the US documentary and all drama elements of the series. I was bought in at short notice to set up all elements and oversee the drama elements of the 10 part series due to the PM having family issues and having to leave the production. Filming on various UK based locations with 5 teams shooting per day. Liaising with police and armorer regarding filming with imitation weapons. Negotiating location deals, crewing up, overseeing casting for the series, contracts, H&S etc. Series is for Discovery and ITV. Also overseeing a pick up day filming for another production – involved extras, period action vehicles, crew and imitation weapon use.


The Choir: Gareth's Best In Britain

Gareth Malone’s search for Britain’s Best Choir sees Gareth travel the length and breadth of the UK searching for the best amateur choirs. Searching all genres of music including a capella, folk, gospel etc sees choirs go head to head competing to represent their regions. I was responsible for a huge casting tour started the series, organizing complex schedules and logistics. The series included a large number of heats where choirs were reduced so only the best remain. The chosen choirs from each region then performed for friends and family. Episodes 1-4 were the huge regional tour, episode 5 was an intensive residential ‘bootcamp’ where our choirs all travelled to a beautiful location and episode 6 was the grand final filmed multi camera with 2,000 strong audience. I negotiated the fees and access to the locations for both residential and for the final filming venue. I liaised with audience management companies and dealt with issues on the ground. I was responsible for overseeing all elements of production from casting to final post delivery. TX Nov 2016.


Sugar Free Farm

Working on a brand new series where celebrities live the good life but with a twist. How will our famous faces deal with a no sugar and no processed food diet? Includes extensive house renovation prior to filming commencing, celebrity contract negotiation, interior designing, celebs living on a farm and creation of recipes. Overseeing farm specific risk assessments, drone risk assessments and H&S paperwork. James Argent, Rory McGrath, Mark Labbett, Tupele Dorgu, Jane McDonald and Jennifer Ellison. 3 x 1hr for ITV Primetime. TX Jan 2016.


Flockstars

Working on a brand new celebrity filled series for ITV prime time, 8 x 30mins. Eight famous faces will head to a farm to star in the new reality TV show which will see them compete for the title of Champion Flocker 2015. The celebrities will be mentored by professionals, who will teach them to handle a border collie, participate in sheep dog trials and get involved in traditional shepherding activities, such as lambing and caring for new-born collie puppies. Starring Brendan Cole, Amanda Lamb, Lee Pearson, Lesley Joseph, Wendi Peters and Tony Blackburn. Gabby Logan to host in the OB studio for the head to head knock out competitions. I arranged the entire venue set up including toilets (crew and audience), catering, dining buses, water supplies, audience seating, H&S meetings, technical recces, technical rig and de rig at the venue, waste removal and celebrity trailers.


1000 Heartbeats

Working with a brand new production company headed up by Peter Jones and Dan Baldwin. Series 1 was 30 x 60 min studio quiz show for ITV hosted by Vernon Kay. Filmed in Riverside Studios. Contestants will wear the latest heart monitoring technology, they will be hooked up to huge screens so there will be nowhere to hide from their pulsing heart. In each round they will have to answer questions on a screen in front of them, but the quicker their heart beats, the faster their time goes. Will their heart race under the pressure or will they be able to keep it under control? Hugely ambitious and technically difficult series with large cash prize. I oversaw the entire GFX package design and production, oversaw set design, lighting and crewing at studios.
