The Production Managers Association Co-ordinators` Directory

A list of recommended Production Co-ordinators is now available to PMA members.

Co-ordinators need to have worked for at least 2 PM's one of whom must be a member of the PMA, to be eligible for inclusion on the site. On being accepted, co-ordinators will be able to log on to update their contact details and their availability.

This is a service provided for PMA members only, but it benefits Co-ordinators who gain work through this list and are also invited to a number of the PMA events and training workshops. Currently entry onto list this list carries an annual admin fee of £30.

Production Coordinator Rules

The Coordinators List is for the use of PMA members only. It is not open to members of the public. It is a list of Production Coordinators who are actively seeking work as a coordinator.

To qualify for the list, coordinators need to have worked (as a Production Coordinator) with 2 or more Production Managers or Line Producers, at least one of which must be a member of the PMA and willing to vouch for them. They must have 4 credits to their name upon application. The Genres they have worked in will be listed but individual credits will not.  The annual cost to co-ordinators is £30.

We recommend that Production Managers take up references and view the coordinators’ CV prior employing them.

There is an Availability List for coordinators. It is the coordinators’ own responsibility to keep their information up to date and put themselves on the Availability List. This list is for people looking for work as a Production Co-ordinator and if it is found that a person on the list is no longer accepting work as a PC then their name will be removed.

All coordinators will be charged an administration fee of either £30 for larger part of the year, or £15 if joining after December.  The year runs from 1st August to 31st July each year. Non-payment within 4 weeks of due date will automatically knock them off the system.

There is no entitlement to be on this list. The PMA retains the right to remove any coordinator from the list at its own discretion, or if it transpires that the criteria have not been met, with no redress to the applicant.

Acceptance on the list, however, will bring with it, access to discounted training (at PMA members’ rates), plus invitations to occasional social events, as we see fit.
