With regular social events the members share work experiences and provide professional support for each other.  Our Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter parties hosted by our Sponsors give a chance to keep abreast of industry developments in an informal setting.

The Forum

This is the Members private e-mail newsgroup - it taps into the vast wealth of experience of the membership. With over 180 members working in Broadcast TV, Commercials, Feature Films, Corporate Videos and Multimedia with accumulated knowledge across every genre, it provides an enormous knowledge-base that any Member can tap into.

The Forum is increasingly popular and now generates huge traffic every day from PMA members working all over the world.

Training Workshops

The PMA occasionally arranges bespoke courses rom time to time, covering areas such as Health and Safety, Budgeting and Scheduling, New Technology and First Aid.

Whilst the courses are often opened to Members and non-Members, PMA Members always pay a subsidised rate on all courses.

Bi-Monthly Newsletter

This is mailed and/or emailed to the PMA Membership every two months. Members and Sponsors hear news and views of the PMA, and keep in touch with the Industry at large.

Membership Standards

Using the PMA means employing Production Managers only from the upper echelons of the industry. To join all members must have had at least 3 years experience and 6 broadcast credits as a Production Manager. Additional skills are also taken into consideration.
