The Production Managers Association Accountants Directory

A list of recommended Production Accountants is now available to PMA members. Credits and contact details are listed.

Accountants need to have worked for at least 2 current members of the PMA, to be eligible for inclusion on the site. On being accepted, accountants will be able to update their own credits.

This is a service provided for PMA members only, but it benefits Accountants who gain work through this list. Currently entry onto list this list carries an annual admin fee of £50.

Production Accountant Rules

The Accountants List is for the use of PMA members only. It is not open to members of the public. It is a list of Production Accountants who are actively seeking work as an accountant.

To qualify for the list, accountants need to have worked (as a Production Accountant) with 2 or more Production Managers or Line Producers who are current members of the PMA and willing to vouch for them. They must have 4 credits to their name upon application. The genres and credits will be listed.

We recommend that Production Managers take up references and view the accountants’ CV prior employing them.

There is an Availability List for accountants. It is the accountants’ own responsibility to keep their information up to date and put themselves on the Availability List. This list is for people looking for work as a Production Accountant and if it is found that a person on the list is no longer accepting work as an Accountant then their name will be removed.

All accountants will be charged a £50 administration fee for 12 months or part thereof. The year runs from 1st August to 31st July each year. Non-payment within 4 weeks of due date will automatically knock them off the system.

There is no entitlement to be on this list. The PMA retains the right to remove any accountant from the list at its own discretion, or if it transpires that the criteria have not been met, with no redress to the applicant.

Acceptance on the list, however, will bring with it, access to discounted training (at PMA members’ rates), plus invitations to occasional social events, as we see fit.
